Canada’s immigration system is about to see a shakeup. The federal government is slashing the number of new permanent residents by nearly 90-thousand next year, with further cuts expected in the years to come. Federal immigration Minister Marc Miller says the cuts are needed to stabilize soaring population growth and relieve housing pressures. But how will those changes affect this province?
