The province is set to play host to a labour market strategic initiative this fall.
The initiative will see members from the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan collaborate with Work Global Canada in various cities across the country, with the aim to increase a dialogue in skills development and employment opportunities in Canada.
The initiative will touch down in St. John’s from October 5th to the 7th, with CEO Paul Shelley sharing that the event presents a significant opportunity to strengthen ties with Uzbekistan, and provide substantial support to Canada’s labour market.
