The deadline to apply for the International Experience Canada (IEC) program is October 21, 2024.
The program allows youth from over 30 countries with Youth Mobility Agreements to temporarily work and live in Canada. IRCC opened the 2024 pool last December, targeting 90,000 applications. Canadians may also apply to work and live in any of these countries. Those interested should act quickly to meet the application deadline.
The 2024 season closing
The final round of invitations for all remaining pools will happen the week of October 21, 2024. You must submit your profile before 9 a.m. Eastern Time on October 21, 2024, to be considered for the 2024 season.
If you receive your invitation to apply before the season closes or have started your work permit application, you can still complete and submit your work permit application.
