The Department of Advanced Education and Skills is holding roundtables in August to provide residents of the province with an opportunity to participate in the development of a new immigration strategy. The strategy will help address Newfoundland and Labrador’s demographic and labour needs and attract economic investment.
Groups and individuals are invited to participate in the following roundtables:

The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills, will attend the roundtables in St. John’s and Corner Brook.
Please confirm your attendance by emailing immigration@gov.nl.ca or by calling (709) 729-6607. Individuals unable to attend a roundtable but who wish to participate are encouraged to indicate interest in participating via teleconference. Disability-related supports and accommodations are available upon request.
Individuals can also submit written comments by September 30, 2016, by completing the fillable discussion document available at www.aes.gov.nl.ca and returning it to immigration@gov.nl.ca.
