Description
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Monitor, assess, treat, document and report symptoms and changes in patient condition
- Assist with surgery and other medical procedures
- May supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- May develop and implement discharge planning process on patient admission
- May teach and counsel patients and their families on health-related matters in collaboration with other health care personnel.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by a physician or in accordance with established policies and protocols
- Operate or monitor medical devices or equipment
- Monitor the patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administer injections, etc.) and complete patient records

- Certification in Intravenous Therapy (IVT)
- CPR certificate

- Internationally educated nurses eligible for licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

EDUCATION
Experience: At least 24 months of experience in the last 5 years
Languages
- TEF valid for French
- IELTS Academic or CELBAN
